Over the weekend my boyfriend and I were intending to go to Geppi’s Entertainment Museum at the harbor, however, that proved impossible after we remembered that the ‘Sailabration’ was going on downtown. This meant once we found parking, the Museum was getting ready to close up. So instead we decided to mosey around the ‘Sailabration’!
'Sailabration' is running from June 13th to 19th down at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. 'Sailabration' is “an international parade of more than 40 tall ships and naval vessels”, sailing into Baltimore for the national launch of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner. While we were there we saw Cisne Branco from Brazil, Cuauhtémoc from Mexico and Dewaruci from Indonesia. Additionally, overhead flew the Blue Angels!
It was exciting to see all these massive ships in our harbor from around the world not to mention all the sailors! After we went to Abbey Burger Bistro for dinner - which is my favorite place for a great burger. My boyfriend tried the crocodile burger which he said was fantastic! xx
